About

I founded RACA to practice architecture differently—designing not just beautiful contemporary spaces, but buildings grounded in rigorous building science and verified performance.

After earning my degree from Yale and spending over a decade at firms like Marmol Radziner and RIOS, I'd worked on plenty of high-profile residential projects. But I wanted to offer clients something more: homes where comfort, efficiency, and indoor air quality aren't afterthoughts, but central to the design from day one.

That's what led me to focus on building science and high-performance design. My training as a Certified Passive House Designer provides the technical foundation, and the principles apply to every project. Whether you're pursuing passive house certification or simply want a home that works exceptionally well, the approach is the same.

As a California-licensed architect and CPHD, I create contemporary homes that honor both design excellence and building science. Spaces that look beautiful, stay comfortable year-round, and cost dramatically less to operate.

I'm based in Los Angeles with my wife and two daughters. Between camping trips and Magnatile construction projects, I'm always thinking about how homes can better serve families and the environment.
